Many years ago, we visited our sister Simona and her husband Scooter in the USA, they introduced us to Mexican cuisine and several chefs. We were amazed. Mexican food is fast, fresh, and high-quality – something different from classic fast food restaurants. A trip to Mexico followed, and a true addiction was born. We fell in love with it so much that we simply had to do something about it. In 2014, we opened our first branch in Frýdek-Místek. Today, you can find us in 12 cities across the Czech Republic and Slovakia.

Their first foreign branch in Bratislava is about to gain company—and it’s clear this is just the beginning.

Jan Kapolka was on track to become an architect, but a few years into college, he realized it wasn’t his passion. At 23, he made a bold move and started a Mexican food bistro, Los Capolitos, with his brother Michal. Ten years later, it was clear that the move paid off.
